The NSW Government has proposed converting Carnarvon Golf Course and Coleman Park, Crown land in Berala, into a cemetery. The course is the busiest in the region, with over 1,500 rounds played each week. Once green space is lost, it's gone forever.
Four council motions carried so far, plus a formal call for a NSW parliamentary inquiry. Working with Auburn MP Lynda Voltz and the community to keep this space in community hands.
